Eileen is an anesthesiology resident and postdoctoral researcher at UCLA.

She is originally from sunny SoCal and started her neuroscience career as an undergrad at UCLA (go Bruins!).

She then completed her MD and PhD degrees at the University of Pittsburgh MSTP in the lab of Dr Sara Ross with an emphasis on brainstem and spinal circuits involved in itch and pain.

Catch her getting lost or stuck in traffic looking for the best al pastor taco and hanging out with her tortoises (Smokey is photobombing here)!
